VORTEX MIXER

(VM-17) A vortex mixer is a simple device used commonly in laboratories to mix small vials of liquid. It consists of an electric motor with the drive shaft oriented vertically and attached to a cupped rubber piece mounted slightly off-center.

  • The instrument has variable speed control from 0 to 3000 rpm.
  • It has been used for various mixing application with optional adapters.
  • It has choice of touch operation mode.
  • The instrument has heavy metal base & suction cup at the base to prevent the movement of the vortex during use. 
  • Mixing motion have been orbit with 4mm orbital diameter
  • Highly efficient and complete mixing at a relatively high speed
  • Vortex Mixers significantly reduce the time required for sample preparation compared to manual methods.
